It's an exciting time in Northwest Territories (NWT) schools!
The Department of Education, Culture and Employment (ECE) is pleased to begin trials of the Draft NWT Adapted Curriculum which have been adapted from British Columbia’s (BC) curriculum to ensure they're relevant to NWT communities, people, cultures, languages and history. This site provides access to both the currently approved NWT curriculum and the Draft NWT Adapted Curriculum currently being trialled and will be updated each year as the adaptation process progresses.
Use the links below or the links in the course navigation menu to access and toggle between the Foundational Curriculum Documents, the English Programming Transition Table Overview and the French First Language and French Second Language - Immersion Programming Transition Table Overview. If you do not see the course navigation menu (blue links to the left of your screen), click the navigation menu icon (☰) on the top left of your screen or the down-chevron symbol "v" on the top right of your screen if using a mobile device.
